Senegal Parrots are more closely related to African Greys than Conures, Amazons, Cockatoos, or Eclectus. African Greys and Senegal Parrots originate from Africa and part of the same Psittacinae subfamily. Behaviorally they are more alike in their slower paced movements relative to their size compared to other types of parrots.
