8-20-20 Carlos the Harlequin Macaw Spray Shower > 할리퀸마카우

Carlos, the 25 year old male Harlequin Macaw, joined our flock on 8-8-20, and based upon his recent observable behavior, it seems he has chosen my beautiful partner Danielle Suzanne as his partner!

So...when she is home, I do not interrupt them, to give them time to connect and develop their relationship, especially since this is Danielle's first 'large Macaw' experience!

Today i gave Carlos a spray bath, and based upon his response seen in the video I shot this morning, he absolutely enjoyed every moment!

Watching a Macaw go through a major life change requires time, patience, and acceptance of their fears and concerns about living in their new home; especially their safety concerns, but after seeing Carlos this morning and his response to his bath, I am very happy to say he is very happy here with us...and that completely matches our experience as well!
