이사를 가게 됐어요. 이삿날, 가장 신경 쓰이는 건 앵무새의 거취 문제지요. 정신 없는 상황에서 자칫 앵무새들이 놀라 날아가는 수가 있거든요.
그래서 아예 앵무새는 전담반을 구성했고(나 혼자), 스케줄도 짰답니다. 계획은 이삿짐 센터가 오기 전 6시 30분에 일어나 인근에 있는 언니네 집으로 앵무새와 새장을 옮기기. 우선 작은 이동용 새장에 앵무새를 넣어두고, 대형 새장을 두 번에 걸쳐서 언니네로 이동, 그 후 앵무새들을 데려왔어요.
대형 새장까지 옮긴 건 앵무새들이 너무 낯선 환경에 놓이면 더 힘들 수 있어서 최대한 비슷한 환경을 조성해주려고 한 거랍니다.
당연히 처음에는 앵무새들이 엄청 낯을 가렸어요. 새장에서 나오지도 않고 밥도 안 먹었죠. 그러다가 점차 익숙해지기 시작했는데 그것도 앵무새마다 조금씩 달랐어요.
예민한 다롱이는 먹지도 않고 내내 두리번 거렸고, 초롱이는…. 음 내내 잘 먹었답니다!
평소 8시 정도 깨우는데, 6시 30분에 일어나 졸며 하품하는 다롱이 모습도 귀여워요!
