You may have seen Kili play dead before in other videos but after doing this trick for about 6 months, she has really mastered playing dead. She used to keep her head up or only put her head down late but now she knows to put it down sooner and not move around. Teaching the bird to play dead (like roll onto her back) was actually the easy part. It only took about a week of active training to get the bird to roll over onto her back but then it took nearly 6 more months to get her to stay still and get the head back to the ground. Well here it is, the finished product, Kili's play dead trick.
Kili is of the species Poicephalus Senegalus which is a green and black parrot native to West Africa. She is a little over one year old and knows 13+ tricks and is very tame. Be sure to check out her other tricks on the kiliparrot channel and subscribe so you can get updates about her newest tricks.
