If I say "Hi" in an admittedly annoying voice and wave, my Senegal parrot, Spankie, waves back and replies (sometimes it sounds more like "Hi" than others, but this wasn't one of those times ). She has been my buddy for most of my life, and I'm grateful to have such a precious friend. I hope you enjoy this super short video of her!
